| Customer Reviews: MUK LUKS Women's Fairisle Knit Toggle Boot June 16, 2010 Andrea Donovan (Parker, CO) Originally I purchased these muk luk fair isle toggle boots, in a size medium, in the fuschia color from DSW. They were a size too small. I sent them back for an exchange, but by the time it was processed they were out of my size, in both the fuschia and black/white. So I ended up going to Amazon and found the black/white muk luks fair isle toggle boot in a large. The inside sole is made of memory foam and conforms to the shape of your foot. It is a little smooshy, so for those of you who have not worn memory foam shoes, it may take a little time to get use to. The bottom, or outside sole is a rubber material, so you get some traction, but it still can be a little slippery in a lot of rain, or snow. I would highly recommend rain and staining these, as it is made of a sweater/knit like material that can easily stain. With the hard sole it can be worn outside, but I would not recommend doing it all the time as a regular outdoor shoe, because it might wear out more quickly that way.
My Wife's Favorite Christmas Gift March 18, 2010 Zack Davisson (Seattle, WA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got these for my wife for Christmas, because she wanted something to keep her feet warm in the house. I don't think I have seen her feet without them since she opened her box!
I see some other reviewers having problems with the construction and stability of these Muk Luks, but the pair I got my wife have seen near-constant wear for three months now, and they are still in great shape. It is possible that they had a defective manufacturing run or some error that has since been corrected, by my experience is the complete opposite of other reviewers.
Warm. Comfy. Sturdy. These are just great indoor boots, and I am sure that the will see equal use next year when it gets cold again!
A Sad Demise January 22, 2010 K. Lee (USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
for a once excellent company. I returned these boot/slippers -- made in China -- immediately after putting them on. Poorly made, and of inferior materials, these boots should never have been marketed in the first place.
